Lots of folks wonder what to do with their new born after bringing them home. What do you carry them in? Do you leave them by on their own to calm down? Do they snooze with you all night? Do you need special items to shower them or dress them in? If needed, find a known website or refer to a book, otherwise here are some basic answers.

You should have many baby receiving blankets for your ride home from the hospital. Purchase these from your local Target or online wholesale cotton fabric site. And car-seats are a must have in order to transport your bundle of trouble home. It is illegal in all 50 states to drive your child anywhere without the security of a car-seat. Some of them can be turned into a stroller for a more useful way around the neighborhood.

Now, as far as holding them all night or letting them try to settle into some smooth sheets, let’s weigh the options. Remember to place them in those baby receiving blankets if you must cuddle with them into the morning. Or place them warmly into their new crib, snuggled in some organic cotton sheets. Again, you can get these at a wholesale cotton fabric site on-line or at your local retail store. Never purchase anything but organic cotton for your love. Always wash everything for your baby before use, even the sheets. Best to purchase the laundry wash at your trusted health food store and make sure there aren’t any pesticides or other stuff you don’t desire.

It’s good not to use a regular store bought Johnson and Johnson shampoo or Gerber baby wash, instead use an organic, locally-purchased baby wash. Make sure there is no real soap in the shampoo. Instead, use a mild milk-based cleanser that has a hydrating effect as well as substances that will not be irritating to the baby’s skin.

As far as food, mother’s milk is still best, but when you can’t use this precious resource then try a plant-derived drink. Staying away from cow’s milk when nursing your joy is usually excellent advice, seeing as how it is made for a being that is several times the size of your little baby.

Keep them in organic cotton found at your one-shop wholesale cotton fabric on line site or local natural shop. There are some great options in the diaper area, but cloth diapers are still environmentally the soundest.

Great luck with your new joy and life. And here’s to a much-needed night’s sleep in your near future.
