Cafe World is one of the most popular facebook games out today, with around 30 million users. It was released in early October 2009. Since the launch, the game has become enormously popular and is growing every day. The company behind Cafe World (Zynga) may not be the most ethical company in the world. However, they are obviously very good at making their games viral. Some of their other games (like Farmville and Petville) are also enormously popular. This is because all their games have built in viral elements. One interesting thing is that the game lets you get your friends over to play the game, and you can compare your progress with each other. You can also visit neighboring cafes. And in addition, they encourage you to post updates of where you are in the game on your facebook wall, so your friends will see that you are playing the game.
If you have played Restaurant City (by Playfish), then you will find that Cafe World is not that different. Zynga will often look at existing games on Facebook, and improve upon them and market them better, soon becoming the market leader. Right now, Cafe World is (by far) the most popular restaurant management game that facebook has. In it, you still do the usual things like cook meals, design your restaurant, attract customers, hire staff and so on. It is virtually impossible for any new facebook game to get more popular than Cafe World, regardless of how good the game is or how many more features there are. The other thing is that it is very unlikely (almost impossible) for games with huge followings like Farmville, Petville and Cafe World to ever drop a lot of players, because new people are playing all the time.
Now, you probably want some tips on how to play Cafe World better. If you want to get really good at Cafe World, and become one of the best players, then you will need a Cafe World guide. Probably one of the better guides out there right now is ‘Cafe World Domination’, which is by far the best selling tutorial on the game right now. Other than Cafe World Domination, there are a few other guides that teach you some good tips, so you may want to investigate them.
If picking up a Cafe World walkthrough does not appeal to you, then you can just play the game without any assistance and learn on your own. But be warned: this is probably going to result in a lot of frustration. If you wish, you can also get hacks and cheats that are designed to manipulate the game, but this is not advised because it can very easily get you banned. So in conclusion, my best advice is to get a guide or walkthrough, and follow that instead of trying to cheat.
