Your food budget is the most flexible area of your house budget. Grocers savings will free up a significant amount of money if you want to balance the budget, or fund your high-interest accounts. Eat meatless meals at least two times a week. Beans and rice are a good example. Egg dishes are a nice change in routine for dinner. Try a vegetable stir-fry or stew. Do not use packed mixes. Cake, breads, muffins, pastry, pizza dough, pancake, and waffles sll come in a variety of pre-packed mixes. Make your own for not a lot more effort and a load less money!

Build your chit file! It seems coupons are available everywhere now. Your newspaper is a great starting point. Pay total attention when looking through mags. These are straightforward to miss. I often find coupons in home, women, or cooking mags.
