Plumbing Tips

Written by Anton Orcutt. No comments Posted in: Baby

Plumbing is the activity related to the installation of pipes, gas, networks, water supply and sewerage.

Depending on the area in which you live, the pipes of home may be more or less vulnerable to the entry of air. This may worsen and cause serious damage, which then require professional attention and high costs.

In plumbing, in some occasions that the water does not flow properly or is not flowing, and sometimes creates an unusual and annoying noise, we often find air trapped in the plumbing of our house.

Let’s see how to remove the air from our pipes/plumbing.

First we can try closing the main key of the house and turning on all faucets in the house until it is empty of water and air, then open the master key again and gradually close the rest of the taps, if this does not solve the problem, we need to open the taps for maximum water flow through the pipes, and thus move the air.

Close all the taps at the same time when you hear that noise in the pipes. If the problem persists you should contact a plumber as there may be several factors like different diameters of pipes, no tanks to reduce pressure, etc.

If we detect odours in the kitchen or bathroom it may simply be a misuse of drains as an accumulation of trash for example, which we will have to unclog pipes or worse yet a repair a pipe as a result of using the plumbing for garbage.
