Glenn Doman is the innovator in the advancement of the child’s brain. He set up the Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential (IAHP) in 1955.
IAHP is a charitable body that gives teaching programs and reading materials on how to train and speed up the mind and physical growth of a regular and also brain damaged children.
In the beginning IAHP gave comprehensive training on mental and physical conditioning to build the potential of brain challenged children. IAHP|The institute] started to move its attention and decided to provide courses on accelerated learning on normal children in principles from the course based from the several techniques use to assist brain damaged children.

The principles of IAHP methods are -
1. There is a genius capability in every child.
He conceives when the child is born, he or she holds a ability to be more smarter than Leonardo da Vinci.
2 The way to release the child’s potential is thru stimulation.
The growth and development of the brains are based on a single dynamic process, and it is not thru predestined and unchangeable facts. The process can be interupted by severe brain injury or slow down by moderate brain injury. But most importantly the growth and development can be accelerated.
3. Teaching should be started at birth.
It is acknowledged that at the brain grows rapidly during the child’s first few years.
4. Learning progress is faster, the younger the child.
The older the child gets, the rate of development of information slowdown thinks learning is playing.
6. Parents are the child’s best Learning must be fun to children.
8. There should not be test during learning and teaching.
How do you teach your baby?
Glenn Doman flash cards are used to teach children. In order to teach your child, make sure the topics covered in the flash cards are -
1) Baby flash cards in black, white and red (visual stimulation cards)
2) Math Dot cards (to develop the child’s analytical mind)
3) Words flash cards (Learning to read)
4) Picture / Vocabulary flash cards (biology, music, art, history, human physiology, mathematics, foreign languages)
You can start teaching your child at the age of 3 months old~You can go ahead teaching your child at the age of 3 months old}. To make learning fun, you can flash cards everyday as though it is part of your child’s play time~To make learning interesting, you can flash cards everyday as though it is part of your child’s play time}.
